Trojans Named to CSCAA Scholar All-American Teams

Alex Lendrum, a 2013 CoSIDA Academic All-American, joined six USC women's swimmers as CSCAA NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Scholar All-American first teamers, it was announced Thursday (July 18).
Lendrum joined Haley Anderson, Andrea Kropp, Lynette Lim, Lindsay Parrish, Jessica Schmitt and Kate Shumway on the first team.
Earning CSCAA Scholar All-American honorable mention honors included women's team members Sam Adams and Lolo Blair and men's team members Nick Johnson, Andrew Malone, Cary Wright, Jordan Gear, Michael Godbe and Blake Cushing.
Lendrum, Lim and Godbe were also 2013 Pac-12 All-Academic first teamers while Godbe and Wright were second teamers.
Lendrum, in addition to his CoSIDA Academic All-America honor, has earned this spring NCAA and Pac-12 postgraduate scholarships and was the 2013 Pac-12 Swimming Scholar Athlete of the Year.
Both the men's and women's teams were also honored among NCAA swim teams with a combined GPA of 3.0 or better.
