MATCH NOTES
- USC improved to 61-19 in matches against Arizona including a 32-5 mark at home. The Trojans also extended their winning streak over the Wildcats to three straight matches.
- The Trojans improved to 90-8 all-time when ranked No. 1 in the AVCA poll.
- USC won its 20th match without a loss for the fourth time in program history. The start is also the fourth best all-time in school record books. Only the 1976 (24-0), 2003 (35-0), and 1977 (38-0) squads had better starts to their seasons. All three teams won national championships.
- The Women of Troy reached the 20-0 mark to start a season for the second time under the direction of head coach Mick Haley. Only one Haley USC team had a longer streak to start its season: the 2003 NCAA champion Trojans started (and finished) 35-0.
- The Trojans had five players reach double-digit points for the first time this season. Previously, USC had two matches in which it had four different players in double-digit scoring: at Colorado (Oct. 9), at Oklahoma (Sept. 17).
- USC put up 11.0 blocks to reach the double-digit mark for the ninth time in 10 matches and for the 10th time in 12 matches. It is the team's 11th match in double digits for blocks this season.
- Senior OH Samantha Bricio logged 21 kills to give her 1,774 in her career. She is now just 25 kills from tying USC's second all-time leader: Jennifer Kessy (1,799; 1995-98). Alex Jupiter (1,918; 2008-11) is the program's record holder.
- Bricio tallied 12 digs (with 21 kills) for her ninth double-double of the season; the 49th of her career.
- Bricio had three service aces against the Wildcats to mark the 37th time in her career that she has had three or more aces in the same match.
- Junior MB Elise Ruddins had season highs of 12.5 points, eight kills, and two service aces.
- Sophomore OPP Brittany Abercrombie posted a new career high with eight digs.
- Freshman OH Alyse Ford had career highs of 19 kills and 20.0 points.
- Freshman setter Baylee Johnson picked up her eighth double-double of the season and finished with new career highs of 43 assists and 13 digs.
