Apostalon Named CollegeSwimming.com's National Swimmer Of The Week

USC junior transfer Anika Apostalon was named CollegeSwimming.com's National Swimmer of the week, the site announced Tuesday (Nov. 10).
Apostalon earned the honor after winning six times last week, including three times each in No. 12 USC swimming and diving's victories at Arizona State and Arizona.
She won the 100y free and helped USC to first in the 200y free relay in a 178-106 win over the Sun Devils on Friday and then won both the 50y and 100y free and was part of the 200y free and medley relays victories as Troy downed the Wildcats on Saturday, 156-144.
Apostalon, who scored in five NCAA individual events in two years at San Diego State before transferring to USC, has NCAA ‘B' cuts this year in the 100y free (49.55) and in the 100y back (54.22).
