Trojans Maneuver Into Main Draw At ITA All-American

After four days of prequalifying and qualifying rounds, members of the USC men's tennis team now turn their attention to the main draw at the Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Main draw action is slated to start on Oct. 6 and run through Oct. 10.

Senior Rob Bellamy had stayed on his hot streak and drummed up five straight wins to move from prequalifying to qualifying singles action, but came up a couple wins short of a main draw slot. Freshman Brandon Holt, meanwhile, started on his path in qualifying and tacked up the necessary three wins there to punch a ticket to the singles main draw.

There, Holt is lined up for duty along with fellow Trojans Nick Crystal and Logan Smith. Ranked #27 in the nation in singles, senior Crystal locked right in on a main draw slot for singles as well as a spot in doubles as one half of the #10-ranked duo in the land alongside partner Laurens Verboven. Holt, too, will pull double duty in the main draw as he and fellow freshman Riley Smith are also tabbed for action in the doubles draw. Logan Smith, meanwhile, stands out as the #48 singles player in the land and has locked in on a main draw spot of his own as that action kicks off Oct. 6 in Tulsa.
