Robynn Ree, Muni He Pass Stage I Of LPGA Qualifying School

Duo will join seven former Trojans in October's Stage II

Trojan junior Robynn Ree and sophomore Muni He, All-Americans on the 2017-18 USC women's golf squad, successfully navigated the LPGA Qualifying School's Stage 1 this weekend in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and advanced to Stage II in October.

Ree (71-70-72-69) and He (72-70-71-69) tied for 17^th 6-under 282, safely advancing to Stage II, set for Oct. 16-22 at the Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla.

There, they will join former Trojans Doris Chen, Kyung Kim, Gabriella Then, Victoria Morgan, Tiffany Chan, Victoria (Alimonda) Lovelady and Veronica Felibert, all looking to punch their ticket to Stage III set for Nov. 27-Dec. 3 at International in Daytona Beach, Fla.

A year ago, Then, Morgan and Chan all earned Symetra Tour status during their senior year while Karen Chung, also a senior last year, earned full LPGA status and turned pro.
