Six Trojans Pile Into Top-60 ITA Rankings

As fall tennis comes to a close, the ITA has released its latest set of individual rankings. A wildly successful fall for several Trojans has seen a powerful representation of USC in those rankings, with six Trojans ranked in the top-60 in singles and one doubles team in the top-50.
Sophomore Daniel Cukierman leads the way, now ranked No. 8 in the nation in singles after starting the fall at No. 31. He's also locked into the doubles list as well, teamed up with senior Tanner Smith as the nation's No. 45 doubles duo. Smith also boasts his first-ever singles ranking, standing tall at No. 34 in the nation after a strong fall.
Senior Laurens Verboven has also upgraded his singles status, going from No. 81 to tower in the top-20, now a career-best No. 19 in the nation. So, too, has senior Logan Smith climbed the ranks, now slotted at No. 32 in the land. Meanwhile, freshman Bradley Frye is on the scene at No. 47, with redshirt junior Jake DeVine also enjoying his best career ranking at No. 56.
These Trojans all had impactful falls, with Cukierman winning the SoCal Intercollegiate title and reaching the Oracle ITA Fall Singles Final, Logan Smith winning the ITA Southwest Regional title, Verboven claiming the ITA Oracle Masters championship, and Tanner Smith reaching the ITA Southwest Regional final. Jake DeVine and Bradley Frye also had strong showings at the ITA All-American qualifying rounds.
