USC First and Second Varsity Eight Go Undefeated on First Day of Pac-12 Challenge
March 31, 2018 | Women's Rowing, Features
The Women of Troy proved strong on the first day of the Pac-12 Challenge today (March 31) in Redwood City, Calif. as both the first and second varsity eight boats went undefeated. USC raced No. 18 Michigan State in the morning and Louisville's crew in the afternoon. The Trojans won four of six races throughout the first day.Â
Â
"Stanford is hosting a great regatta at Redwood Shores, in my opinion, one of the best dualrace venues," said head coach Josh Adam. "We've had great support from parents, alumnae and fans. The Women of Troy learned a lot about how we manage ourselves over a multi-race event in today's races against Michigan State and Louisville. We are excited about competing against Iowa tomorrow morning."
