Six USC Finalists Up For 2019 Southern California Indoor Volleyball Hall Of Fame

Six volleyball greats with USC ties have been named among a group of 27 finalists for the third class of the Southern California Indoor Volleyball Hall of Fame. Fifteen of the finalists will be inducted into the 2019 class.

The Trojan finalists are: former USVBA champion Patti Lucas Bright, national champion player Debbie Landreth Brown, former USC women's volleyball coach and 2000 Olympic women's head coach Mick Haley, NCAA indoor champ and beach Olympian April Ross, former Trojan basketball great turned junior college volleyball coaching standout Ken Stanley and USC NCAA champion player and coach Bob Yoder.

USC's six finalists are second most of any school, behind UCLA's eight. There were nearly 100 nominees for the 2019 class.

The 15 inductees chosen will be honored at a dinner on May 5, 2019, at the Highway 39 Event Center in Anaheim. The SCIVBHOF is located at the American Sports Centers-Anaheim.

Seven Trojans were previously inducted in the first two classes of the SCIVBHOF: Dusty Dvorak, Debbie Green, Bryan Ivie, Ron Lang, Pat Powers, Steve Timmons and Paula Weishoff.
