January 10, 2019 | Men's Volleyball, Features
Jack Wyett had 15 kills and Gianluca Grasso added 10 kills with 6 aces to lead the USC men's volleyball team to a season-opening 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 sweep over Concordia in the opening round of the Hawaiian Airlines Rainbow Warrior Classic on Thursday (Jan. 10) in Honolulu, Hi.
The match signaled the start of the 50th season of play for USC. Concordia fell to 0-4 on the season. Although the teams are both members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, the match did not count as a conference contest.
