USC Travels to the Lone Star State

The USC women's tennis team travels to College Station, Texas where they will challenge Southern Methodist on Saturday (Feb. 7) at 10 a.m. PT and Texas A&M on Sunday (Feb. 8) at 8 a.m. PT.
ORACLE/ITA RANKINGS UPDATES
In the most recent ITA team rankings (Jan. 30), the Women of Troy remain unranked
The ITA released new singles and doubles rankings on Feb. 7, and four Trojans earned national rankings.
Freshman Salma Ewing holds the No. 24 singles rank, while fellow freshman Danielle Willson improved her singles ranking to No. 86 after a strong win against San Diego's Kati Kukaras in USC's match against the Toreros last Wednesday (Jan. 30).
In doubles, the Trojan pair of Angela Kulikov and Rianna Valdes shot up in the rankings to No. 18. The duo improved 24 spots as they were formerly ranked No. 42 in the last ITA rankings.
SCOUTING SMU
The SMU Mustangs are 1-3 to begin the 2019 season. They last played two weeks ago when they traveled to Palo Alto for ITA Kickoff Weekend where they fell to Washington State 4-3, but beat Saint Mary's 4-0. The Mustangs have no nationally ranked singles or doubles players on their squad.
SCOUTING SAN DIEGO
The Texas A&M Aggies are currently undefeated and 8-0 on the season. They are coming off a doubleheader from Monday (Feb. 4) where they defeated TCU 4-3 and Prairie View A&M 7-0. They have two nationally ranked singles players in No. 89 Jayci Goldsmith and No. 109 Tatiana Makarova. Those same two are also ranked in doubles as a team holding the No. 54 rank.
