USC Women’s Tennis To Play Three Home Matches

THIS WEEK
The No. 11 ranked USC women's tennis team takes to the courts in Marks Stadium three times this week. The Women of Troy take on Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday (April 2) at 1 p.m. PT, Colorado on Friday (April 5) at 12:30 p.m. PT and Utah on Saturday (April 6) at 12 p.m. PT. USC's match versus Colorado will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
ORACLE/ITA RANKINGS UPDATES
In the most recent ITA team rankings (April 2), the Women of Troy surged ahead five spots to the No. 11 ranked team in the nation.
The ITA also released new singles and doubles rankings on April 2.
Freshman Salma Ewing remains USC's highest ranked singles player. She jumped ahead six spots to claim in the No. 43 ranking. Junior Angela Kulikov fell to No. 87 after previously holding the No. 75T ranking. Freshman Danielle Willson improved two positions to No. 122, and Ana Neffa reentered the rankings at the No. 123 spot.
In doubles, the duo of Angela Kulikov/Rianna Valdes improved six spots to the No. 14 ranking after previously holding the No. 20 spot. In addition, the Trojan tandem of Constance Branstine/Estella Jaeger debuted in the national rankings at the No. 85 position.
SCOUTING FULLERTON
The Cal State Fullerton Titans are 11-3 overall and 3-1 in Big West Conference play. They are currently riding a three-match winning streak. The Titans have played one other Pac-12 opponent: Arizona State. They lost to the Sun Devils 6-1 earlier this season. They do not have any singles or doubles players nationally ranked.
SCOUTING COLORADO
The Colorado Buffaloes are 10-8 overall and 3-2 in Pac-12 Conference play. Most recently, they defeated Oregon 4-0. They currently have one doubles pair nationally ranked: #35 Annabelle Andrinopoulos/Monica Malinen.
SCOUTING UTAH
The No. 39 ranked Utah Utes hold an 11-5 record for the season and are 2-3 in conference play. They currently do not have any nationally ranked singles or doubles players. They most recently defeated Oregon 7-0.
