Senior saw great academic success in his final season at USC.
Fresh off completing his degree in communications, Logan Smith has landed high academic honors as an ITA Scholar-Athlete. Smith posted a GPA over 3.50 for the 2018-19 academic year to secure his Scholar-Athlete status.Â
On the court, Smith won the 2018 ITA Regional Singles Championship during his senior campaign and wrapped the season ranked No. 87 in the nation in singles. He was the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year as a freshman, and finished his career with 71 singles victories to his name.
ITA scholar-athletes must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year, and 3.) have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman through senior year).
