The Women of Troy will face three ranked opponents on the first weekend of the 2020 season
LOS ANGELES - The fourth-ranked USC beach volleyball team (0-0) opens the 2020 season in the Palmetto State where the Trojans will face three ranked opponents at the Hilton Head Island Invitational this weekend (Feb. 29-March 1). The Women of Troy meet a new foe to start the tourney against College of Charleston (0-0), but then take on 17th-ranked host South Carolina (1-3) on Saturday. USC plays No. 10 Grand Canyon (4-0) and concludes the weekend against No. 3 Florida State (7-0) on Sunday.

- USC owns three beach volleyball national championships including the first-ever NCAA title in 2016 (AVCA, 2015).
- The Trojans have won three Pac-12 crowns (2016, '17, '19).
- First-year head coach Dain Blanton takes over for the defending Pac-12 champions following the retirement of two-time AVCA National Coach of the Year Anna Collier.
