USC Cross Country Set To Compete At The Bronco Invitational Saturday

Trojans race in final regular season meet
The USC women's cross country team will be competing at the Bronco Invitational (6K) to be held in Sunnyvale, Calif. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 9 30 a.m.
Trojans who are scheduled to compete this weekend are Jacqueline Duarte, Ashlee Gallegos, Vienna Gao, Maya Lacamp, Gigi Maccagnini and Brooke Rodi.
This will be the third and final regular season meet for the Trojans before hosting the Pac-12 Championships on October 28 at the Ag Ops Course in Riverside, Calif.
USC opened the season by placing third at the Mark Covert Classic (5K) in Brea, Calif. on Sept.3. The third-place finish tied for USC's best since winning the 2016 Pepperdine Invitational. Lucy Westlake led the Trojans that day as well as leading the team by placing 11th at the UC Riverside Invitational (6K) on Sept. 17. That was the first career 6K race for many of the Trojan athletes. Since that meet, USC has been focused on heavy training to prepare for the Pac-12 Championships.
USC will host the 2022 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships on the Ag Ops Course in Riverside, Calif on Oct. 28. The women's 6K race will begin at 8:40 a.m. and the men's 8K race is scheduled to begin at 9:40 a.m. The 2022 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships will be aired on the Pac-12 Network. USC will be hosting the conference meet for the first time since 2009.
