THIS YEAR:
Freshman Ashlee Gallegos is in her first season as a member of the USC track and field and cross country teams.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Gallegos is a 2022 graduate of JSerra Catholic School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. where she competed in track and cross country. Â Gallegos placed 19th with a 5K PR of 18:58.30 at the Team Nationals California Regional on Dec. 4, 2021. Â She finished 67th at the 2021 CIF state meet as her team won the CIF Division IV team title. Â Her 3-mile PR is 17:55.50 set at the 2021 Woodbridge Cross Country Classic. Â In track, Gallegos won the 800m race at the 2022 Stanford Invitation with a PR of 2:10.18. Â She also placed 11th in the event at the CIF state meet. She also had a 1600m PR of 4:55.41 to win at the Orange County Championships to help lead her team to the title...she also won the 800m race and was named outstanding distance runner of the meet.

Gallegos was born on June 16, 2004 in Ladera Ranch, Calif....Her parents are Beckie and Robert Gallegos. Â She is a Psychology major at USC.
