CROSSExamination
Fresh off a massive weekend, USC will bring the momentum on the road as its defense plans to host another successful weekend. The Trojans' defensive-first team only allowed eight total goals on the weekend, and propelled the squad past their biggest rivals, Stanford. Heading into the game, USC had lost four straight against the Cardinal, but the defense had other plans for the outcome of the game. Now, there is no time to falter as this weekend has major implications for the conference standings. USC took home the advantage in the last bout, as it bested Colorado 17-13. The ultimate goal for the Trojans is to duplicate that or even make it look better on paper in order to claim the coveted Pac-12 regular season title.
