THIS WEEK - The USC women's soccer team hits the road and continues Big Ten Conference play, visiting Oregon on Friday afternoon for a 1 p.m. matchup.

RAWLINSON STADIUM - USC made a big investment in the women's soccer program with the construction of Rawlinson Stadium. The $38 million project was announced in 2023 and broke ground on April 9, 2024, with construction finishing this summer. The stadium was built over the site of the former McAlister Field and has a maximum capacity of 2,500 fans. USC held a ribbon cutting ceremony prior to the season opener against CBU on August 17.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS OREGON - USC holds an 18-2-1 all-time advantage over Oregon dating back to their first meeting in 1999, a 3-1 Trojan win. The Trojans have dominated the series in recent years, carrying a 12-match winning streak into 2025 and going 10-0 in the last 10 meetings since 2015. USC's largest margin of victory came in 2018 with a 5-0 win, while the closest result was a 1-0 victory in 2021. Overall, the Trojans have scored 43 goals against the Ducks, averaging two per match, and hold a 12-1 record in conference play. At home, USC is 10-1, and away they are 8-1-1, most recently defeating Oregon 2-0 on October 5, 2024.

SUNDAY VS RUTGERS - USC completed their two-game homestand with a 2-1 victory against Rutgers at Rawlinson Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Jaiden Anderson and Ines Derrien scored the USC goals in the first half. Rutgers pulled one back late in the match, but the Trojan defense made the lead stand up as USC had a 12-8 shots advantage and 5-1 corners advantage.

SHUTOUT VS MARYLAND - The Trojans bounced back with a dominant performance against Maryland last Thursday night, taking down the Terrapins 3-0. Mary Flores opened the scoring with a stunning free kick goal in the 7th minute, then Katie Park made it 2-0 before the half by drawing a PK and converting the kick. Eleanor Morrissey found Hana Mizumoto with a long pass and Mizumoto chipped the keeper to make it 3-0 in the 89th minute. USC held 60% of the possession in the game and limited Maryland to just four shots, posting their fourth shutout of the season.

RODRIGUEZ WORLD CUP CALL UP - Freshman Jaiden Rodriguez was called up by the U.S. Youth National Team for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco later this month. Rodriguez was previously called up by the USYNT for friendlies in Spain earlier this season. The U-17 World Cup will run Oct. 17-Nov. 8.

- Maribel Flores has been the driving force for the Trojan offense this season, leading the team in goals and points. Her 6 goals and 15 points are both 3rd in the Big Ten as she is averaging 1.50 points per game (also 3rd in the Big Ten). Flores has 3 game-winning goals as well, which leads the conference and is 21st in the nation.
- Jaiden Anderson is second on the team with 12 total points and 4 goals. Her 4 assists are 6th in the Big Ten and tops on the team and her 1.20 points per game are 4th in the conference. Anderson scored the first ever goal in Rawlinson Stadium history, converting on a PK in the season opener against CBU.
- Ines Derrien is third for USC with 10 total points this season, matching Anderson for second with 4 goals, while also posting 2 assists. Derrien posted a brace against CBU in the opener and had two assists and a goal against New Mexico State.
- Faith George has 2 goals and 2 assists so far this season. Her first goal was the equalizer against Pepperdine, with her first assist coming in the 4-0 opening night victory. Her most recent goal was the eventual game-winner against NM State, and she added her most recent assist in the Trojans' win at Michigan.
- Bella Grust has started every game in goal so far this season and has played all but 19 minutes in net for USC. Grust has three solo-shutouts and one combined shutout on the year, with a total of 26 saves.
- Edra Bello leads all USC field players in minutes played as a freshman this year. Bello has started all 10 games on the back line, playing 770 minutes. She has 1 assist and has helped lead USC to 4 shutouts. Bello has played a full 90 minutes five times.
- Lily Biddulph is just behind Bello in minutes played at 747. Biddulph has started 9 of USC's 10 games on the back line. The sophomore transitioned from playing as a forward last year for USC.
- Hana Mizumoto has 2 goals off the bench this year, scoring her first career goal against NM State and adding her second against Maryland. The junior forward has appeared in 9 of USC's 10 games as a substitute.
- Katie Park scored her first career goal against Maryland, drawing a PK and converting the kick.
