USC Baseball Welcomes 18th-Ranked Recruiting Class

The Trojans enter their fourth season under Head Coach Andy Stankiewicz and are coming off of their first NCAA Postseason appearance in a decade.
LOS ANGELES - The USC baseball team, entering its fourth season under head coach Andy Stankiewicz, welcomed the No. 18-ranked recruiting class in the nation this fall according to Perfect Game.

In the class, 17 players are ranked in the Top 25 and six are in the Top 5 at their position in their state, while three are rated Top 10 overall in their state. In California, USC has 10 players ranked in the Top 25 at their position, including the fifth overall shortstop, fifth and sixth overall catchers, and fifth overall left-handed pitcher. The incoming USC class features 20 new players, with seven transfers and 13 freshmen.

Henry Chabot

- In 2023, as a freshman, he had a 1.27 ERA and racked up a team high 8 saves in 21.1 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts and six walks
- Named the D3baseball.com Region-X Rookie of the Year and was named Second Team All-Region after his freshman year
- Played two varsity seasons at Brophy College Prep and was First-Team All-Conference as a senior
Chase Herrell
