
USC Cross Country Sets Sights on Pomona-Pitzer Invite

The Women of Troy will compete in their third meet and second 6K of the season
CLAREMONT, Calif. – After a successful outing at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday, the USC cross country team will set out for their third meet of the season at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on Saturday morning.
The Trojans are sticking to the proven lineup with Isabella Duarte, Jacqueline Duarte, Holli Prest, Haley Spoden and Paige Unger all expected to return to the course after Saturday's race.
The Women of Troy made a strong impression at the UC Riverside Invitational, highlighted by Holli Prest's 6K time of 21:44.5 in her second ever meet in the cardinal and gold. Jacqueline Duarte and Haley Spoden both set personal bests in the 6K, beating out their previous personal records by 44 seconds and 11 seconds, respectively.
The women's 6K is scheduled for a 8:30 a.m. start on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Strehle Track. Fans can catch live results here and follow along on social media @usc_track_field on Instagram and X.
