USC Swimming Opens 2026-27 Season at Uytengsu Against TCU

Trojans open the season at home against the Horned Frogs at the USC Invitational.
LOS ANGELES — USC swimming opens the 2026-27 season this week, welcoming TCU to Uytengsu Aquatics Center for the two-day USC Swimming Invitational running Thursday, Oct. 8 through Friday, Oct. 9.
The two-day meet begins with a 1 p.m. session Thursday afternoon. Competition resumes Friday morning with sessions at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
All three sessions will stream live on Big Ten Plus (subscription required) and fans can follow the meet in real time using the Meet Mobile app for live results.
Led by fifth-year head coach Lea Maurer, both USC squads enter the season ranked in the CSCAA preseason polls. The Women of Troy open the year at No. 13 nationally, while the Trojan men begin the campaign ranked No. 25.
USC returns a pair of All-Americans and Big Ten Swimmers to Watch in Minna Abraham and Krzysztof Chmielewski, who will lead their respective squads. The Trojans also welcome 12 swimming newcomers to the program this season.
Four USC swimmers earned first-team CSCAA All-America honors during the 2025-26 season, while the Trojans established three school records in their second year as members of the Big Ten Conference. The USC women finished fifth at the Big Ten Championships and 14th at the NCAA Championships. The men placed seventh at the conference meet before also finishing 14th nationally.
