The Trojans take on UC Davis and No. 2-ranked Stanford in Northern California

LOS ANGELES – The USC lacrosse team (2-1) plays away from home for the first time when it heads to Northern California for games at UC Davis (1-2) on Friday (Feb. 20) and at No. 2 Stanford (3-0) on Sunday (Feb. 22). The Trojans take on the Aggies in a 4 p.m. PT game at UC Davis Health Stadium and then will play at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium when they meet the Cardinal. USC is 20-7 all-time in Northern California with six of those losses to Stanford on the Farm.

USC is led by 14th-year head coach Lindsey Munday, a four-time conference Coach of the Year (MPSF and Pac-12). She is the Trojans' first and only head coach in program history and is 163-71 (.697) at Troy.

Jr. M Anna Regan produced her eighth-career double-digit draw control game with 13 against Brown. Her 256 career draw controls rank third in USC history and is 12th most among active players nationally. She leads the Big Ten at 8.00 dcpg (17th in the NCAA).
Jr. A Emma Bunting's nine assists rank second in the Big Ten (7th nationally) and her 3.00 assist per game are third in the league (11th nationally).
Nine different Trojans have scored goals through three games led by six apiece from sophomore attackers Vivian Leuthold and Kaylee Fravert.
The Women of Troy were picked to finish in sixth place in the Big Ten preseason coaches poll; the same spot it finished in the final 2025 standings.

LAST TIME OUT: The Trojans fell, 15-4, to 22nd-ranked Denver but turned things around to take a 9-8 win over No. 24 Brown. Anna Regan grabbed 13 draws in the win over the Bears and Kaylee Fravert scored her sixth-career hat trick. Asjia Roberson caused three turnovers and picked up a pair of ground balls.

ALL-AMERICAN GIRLS: USC has celebrated 10 IWLCA All-America selections. Michaela Michael was the first-ever All-American selection as a third-team choice in 2015. Michael and defender Courtney Tarleton were each named to the first team in 2016, with midfielder Amanda Johansen chosen to the third team. Michael repeated for first-team honors in 2017 alongside defender Lydia Sutton who earned third-team recognition. Kerrigan Miller joined the ranks as a third-team choice in 2018 and was a second-team All-American in 2019. Kelsey Huff (2022) and Emma Wightman (2023) were each tabbed for third-team laurels.

POLL POSITION: The Trojans were unranked in the IWLCA Coaches' preseason poll. Between the 2016 preseason poll and March 15, 2021, USC spent a school-record 63 consecutive weeks ranked in the poll. USC also spent a school-record 26 straight weeks in the top 10 from March 21, 2016, through Feb. 19, 2018.

INTERSTATE HIGHWAY: USC is 20-7 all-time in games played in Northern California. The Trojans have played in Berkeley (11-0), Davis (3-0), Moraga (2-0), and Stanford (4-7). Six of USC's seven losses were to Stanford, and the only other loss was to Colorado in the semifinals of the 2021 Pac-12 tournament.

EAST COAST BIAS: USC has played 47 games in the Eastern Time Zone and is 23-24 overall. Since its inaugural season (2013), the Trojans have played at least one game in the Eastern Time Zone every year. This spring, USC will play Big Ten opponents Johns Hopkins (March 19) and Maryland (March 22) on the East Coast and will take on Central Michigan (April 6).

STATE YOUR CASE: USC's 33-woman roster has players from 12 different states. California leads with five from the Golden State. Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, and New Jersey are each represented by four Trojans. Massachusetts and Pennsylvania each have three players on the roster while New York has two. HOME, SWEET HOME: The Trojans are 82-25 all-time in home games. Between 2015 and 2018, the Trojans won 23 straight games on McAlister Field. Including two wins at the LA Memorial Coliseum, USC claimed 25 consecutive home victories during the impressive streak. The Trojans are 7-6 at the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. USC and Northwestern played the Trojans' inaugural game there on Feb. 9, 2013. Against opponents at the Coliseum, USC is 0-2 against Northwestern, 3-1 against Stanford, 2-1 against Colorado, 1-0 against both Arizona State and California, and is 0-1 with San Diego State and Johns Hopkins.

TRANSFER CREDITS: USC welcomed a pair of new Trojans through the NCAA's Transfer Portal this season. Attacker Frankie Garcia from San Diego State and goalie Ellie Thomas from New Hampshire. Garcia arrives as a junior while Thomas will be a sophomore in 2026.

RING IT UP: USC head coach Lindsey Munday owns two NCAA titles as a player at Northwestern (2005-06) with three more as a Wildcat assistant coach (2007-09). She is a two-time FIL World Champion (2009, '13) and led the U.S. Sixes National Team to gold medals at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China.
