Three Trojans Land on Big Ten Preseason Lacrosse Players to Watch List

The Women of Troy were picked to finish in sixth in the Big Ten’s preseason poll
ROSEMONT, Ill. – USC lacrosse junior midfielder Hannah Barron (Boston, Mass./Middlesex School), and junior attackers Emma Bunting (Mount Laurel Township, N.J./Lenape HS) and Reese Robinson (McKinney, Texas/McKinney North HS) were each named to the Big Ten's preseason women's lacrosse players to watch list announced on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

The Conference also announced its preseason coaches' poll with the Trojans picked to finish sixth. Northwestern was chosen to win the league by unanimous decision and was followed by Maryland, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, and Penn State ahead of USC. Rutgers landed in seventh place with Ohio State in eighth and Oregon in ninth.

The Trojans play nine home games in 2026 in their brand new on-campus home Rawlinson Stadium and break the seal on the season with a game against former MPSF and Pac-12 foe California on Sunday (Feb. 8) with first draw set for noon PT. In 2025, USC went 10-7 overall with a 3-5 mark in conference games; the Trojans' first season as members of the Big Ten. The Women of Troy finished sixth in the league standings and earned a spot in the conference tournament where it fell to No. 12 Michigan in the quarterfinals.
