LOS ANGELES – No. 3 USC Beach Volleyball wrapped up the regular season at No. 9 Loyola Marymount, where they lost 4-1 to the Lions on Friday, April 17. With this dual, the Women of Troy wrapped up the regular season with an overall record of 26-9.

RECORDS: USC (26-9), LMU (22-10)

At the No. 2 spot, Kennedy Coakley and Zoey Henson faced Chloe Hooker and Ines Piret, with the LMU duo taking the match in straight sets, 21-15, 21-16. This result put the first point on the board for the Lions.

In the No. 4 flight, Alana Embry and Bella Satterwhite of the Trojans could not hold off Maja Kruczek and Josefine Schaekel, who secured another point for LMU with a 21-18, 21-12 victory.

The first flight decided the dual. Ashley Pater and Sarah Wood took on LMU's Tanon Rosenthal and Anna Pelloia. The Women of Troy could not get into a rhythm during this match as they lost in two sets, 21-16, 21-13.

After the decision, the No. 3 flight featured a three-set battle, where Kyra Zaengle and Calinda Kok of USC emerged victorious over Jaeya Brach and Magdalena Rabitsch. After dropping the first set 23-21, Zaengle and Kok rallied to take the next two sets 22-20, 15-9, adding a point for the Trojans.

Madison Goellner and Kaileigh Truslow went the distance against Katie McAlister and Ellie Davis in the fifth flight. The LMU pair clinched the match with a 21-17, 15-21, 15-11 win.
