No. 2 USC Women’s Golf Earns Six All-Big Ten Awards
April 29, 2026 | Women's Golf
The Trojans set a program record with five first-team all-conference selections.
ROSEMONT, Ill. — Six members of the No. 2 USC Women's Golf team earned All-Big Ten Conference honors, which were announced on Wednesday, April 29.
Kylie Chong, Jasmine Koo, Elise Lee, Catherine Park and Bailey Shoemaker were First Team All-Big Ten selections, while Sarah Hammett made the Big Ten All-Freshman team. The Trojans' five first-team selections are the most for a single season in program history, while the six honorees are the most USC has had in a season since six players won all-conference honors in 2018-19.
Enjoying a breakout sophomore season, Kylie Chong won her first two career titles in 2025-26. In the fall, Chong was the co-champion of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic before winning USC's GameAbove Invitational in March. She tied the team high with seven top-10 finishes and finished in the top 25 10 times. Chong's stroke average of 71.21 is the fourth-best mark on the team.
In just her sophomore season, Jasmine Koo has become one of the most accomplished players in USC women's golf history. The 2026 Big Ten Champion matched last year's total with four wins — including a stretch of three wins in her past four tournaments — to become the program's winningest player with eight career titles. She has six top-10 finishes and nine top-25 finishes this season. This is her second First Team All-Big Ten award.
Making her debut as a Trojan, Elise Lee has become an integral part of USC's roster throughout her sophomore season. Lee has finished in the top 25 in 10 of the 11 tournaments this year with six top-10 finishes. She has placed in the top 10 in three of her last four tournaments, including a ninth-place finish at Big Tens.
The first four-time first-team all-conference selection in program history, Catherine Park capped off her stellar career with another successful season. She won her fifth individual title at the Alice and John Wallace Women's Golf Classic, moving her into a tie for third for the most career wins at USC. Park leads the team in rounds under par (19), rounds in the 60s (18) and is tied for the most top-10 finishes (seven) and top-25 finishes (10) on the team.
Earning First Team All-Big Ten honors for the first time in her career, junior Bailey Shoemaker has put together her most successful season of collegiate golf despite missing the fall season due to injury. Shoemaker has finished in the top 15 in all seven tournaments in which she's played, plus she has three runner-up finishes this year. Her 70.38 stroke average leads the team.
Sarah Hammett earned a spot on the Big Ten All-Freshman team after putting together a solid freshman campaign in which she placed in the top 10 three times and the top 25 six times. Her best three-round tournament result came at USC's GameAbove Invitational, where she tied for sixth while competing as an individual.
Rounding out the awards, Park earned the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive year.
The Big Ten will announce the Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year awards after the conclusion of the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Championships.
The Trojans will learn their destination for regionals during the 2026 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Selection Show, which will air on the Golf Channel on Wednesday, April 29 at 1 p.m. PT. All pertinent schedule information can be found on the women's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
