No. 2 USC Women’s Golf Selected as the No. 1 Seed of the Ann Arbor Regional
April 29, 2026 | Women's Golf
The Trojans look to earn their 28th consecutive NCAA Championship berth on a historic course.
LOS ANGELES — Continuing its postseason push, the No. 2 USC Women's Golf Team will compete as the No. 1 seed in the Ann Arbor Regional, held at the University of Michigan Golf Course from May 11-13.
The Trojans have advanced to the NCAA Championship final site every year since 1998, which is the longest active streak in the nation. USC has won an NCAA-record 15 regional titles, most recently in 2024 when it won the East Lansing regional.
At Ann Arbor, USC will compete against Duke, UCF, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Northwestern, Kansas, Texas Tech, UNLV, Columbia, Quinnipiac and Oakland at the University of Michigan Golf Course. The course is one of two collegiate courses designed by Alister MacKenzie, who went on to design Augusta National two years later.
USC is on a six-tournament win streak — the longest in program history — with its most recent win coming last weekend at the Big Ten Championships. So far, the Trojans have won seven tournaments, which is the most since the team won eight titles in Head Coach Justin Silverstein's first year in 2018-19.
With five players ranked in the Scoreboard top 50 individual rankings, the Trojans are one of the deepest teams in the nation. Three players are responsible for winning seven individual titles: Jasmine Koo (four), Kylie Chong (twice) and Catherine Park (one). Koo and Park are finalists for the ANNIKA Award, the top award in women's collegiate golf, while five different Trojans earned All-Big Ten First-Team honors.
Last season, the Trojans punched their ticket to the NCAA Championship with a fourth-place finish at the Lexington Regional. Bailey Shoemaker led the Trojans by tying for seventh.
The top five teams from each regional and the top individual from a non-qualifying team will punch their tickets to the NCAA Women's Golf Championship, which will be held at the Omni La Costa in Carlsbad, Calif. from May 22-27.
