USC's Kiki Iriafen Added to 2026 USA Basketball Women's National Team Roster

Iriafen will compete with Team USA at the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin on Sept. 4.
Former USC All-American forward Kiki Iriafen has been named to the USA Women's Basketball National Team, the organization announced on Monday, Aug. 31.
Iriafen made her USA Basketball debut at the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds through five games.
The USA open group play against China on Sept. 4, followed by Italy on Sept. 6 and Czechia on Sept. 7. A full schedule, including game times and broadcast information, is available here.
Earlier this summer Iriafen was named to the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game roster, marking the second consecutive season she's received an All-Star nod.
Iriafen made history as USC's first top-10 WNBA Draft pick since 2004 and the program's highest draft selection since 1997. During her lone season with the Trojans in 2024-25, she earned WBCA Coaches' All-America honors, unanimous All-Big Ten First Team recognition and AP and USBWA Third Team All-America honors. As a senior, the Trojan averaged 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds per game while recording 12 double-doubles.
The U.S. roster is highlighted by 12 athletes with extensive USA Basketball experience, combining for ten Olympic and five World Cup gold medals. The team also features nine players making their World Cup debuts. The USA are seeking their fifth consecutive – and 12th overall – World Cup gold medal.
