Bio
2014-15
Karina Batek enters her sophomore season as a starboard rower for the Women of Troy.
As a freshman, Batek rowed with the Trojans' novice crew from the fifth and seventh seats. She raced in the San Diego Crew Classic, the Lake Natoma Invitational, the USC-UCLA dual, and at the Pac-12 Championships.
CLUB AND HIGH SCHOOL
Batek was a four-year letterwinner in soccer and a three-year letterwinner as a discus thrower on the track and field team at Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas. She was an Academic All-District selection in each of her four years and was chosen as an Academic All-American as a senior.
