LOS ANGELES — The USC Women's Rowing team begins its third year under the direction of Head Coach Kelsie Chaudoin this Saturday at the Head of the American, held at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.
The regatta begins at 10:07 a.m. PT with three Trojan boats competing in the Collegiate Four, then USC will compete at 11:28 a.m. PT in the Collegiate Pairs races before wrapping up the regatta with the Collegiate Eight at 2:24 p.m. PT. A link to live results can be found on the women's rowing team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
Ten pairs will compete in the collegiate races, while the team will also compete in the Collegiate Eight and Four races. Almost every Trojan will have multiple opportunities to compete in both races.
USC will compete against several Division I schools, including Gonzaga, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Diego State, Santa Clara, UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara. A contingent of non-Division I schools and collegiate club teams will also be in attendance.
This will be the third straight year USC will compete at the Head of the American. At this event last year, the Trojans won the Collegiate Eight and Four races while compiling eight top-five finishes.
