2008: Samuels scored eight goals as a freshman... Scored in five games with three two-goal outings... Scored two goals in the first game of his career, a win over Claremont on Sept. 6.
HIGH SCHOOL: Samuels is a two-time All-American out of Los Altos High... Named CCS Division I MVP as a senior and county MVP by the San Jose Mercury News in 2008... Also a two-time league MVP and First Team All-CCS selection... Played club for Solo, Stanford and Los Altos.
PERSONAL: Samuels has not decided on a major but hopes to become a film director... Parents are Karen and Ed... Has two sisters, Rachel and Bailey... His father and sisters all played collegiate water polo, and his father was a U.S. national team member... Enjoys skateboarding and listening to music in his free time...
