HIGH SCHOOL: Friedrich was named the 2007 CIF San Diego Section Player of the Year out of Carlsbad High... A Second Team All-American as a senior, also named North County Times Athlete of the Year and Avocado League Player of the Year... Team won CIF Section titles in 2006 and 2007... Named San Diego Union Tribune Water Polo All-Academic Team Captain... Played club for Carlsbad and San Diego Shores.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Friedrich was a member of the 2008 U.S. Senior National B team and has played for the U.S. Youth and Cadet teams... Competed at the LEN Tournament in Croatia and in Canada in 2006.
