CAREER: He has 464 kills (hitting .250), 221 digs, 59 blocks and 53 aces while appearing in 42 matches (starting 40 times) in his career ... 2019: Grasso returns for his third year as a starting outside hitter as a senior in 2019 ... He is a USC co-captain.
2018: Grasso started again at outside hitter as a junior in 2018 ... Overall in 2018 while starting all 25 matches in which he appeared, he had 275 kills (second on USC) while hitting .238, plus a team-high 45 aces, 125 digs (fourth on USC) and 35 blocks ... He earned 2018 All-MPSF honorable mention ... He made the 2018 MPSF All-Tournament team ... He had double kills figures 15 times (once with 20-plus kills), hit .500 once, had 5-plus digs 13 times (including twice with 10-plus digs) and had 5-plus blocks once ... His 5 aces versus Grand Canyon was a USC season high ... He was 10th nationally in aces (0.48, second in MPSF), 40th in points (3.61, ninth in MPSF) and 43rd in kills (2.93, ninth in MPSF) ... He had double kills figures 10 times, including twice with 20-plus kills, hit .500-plus twice and had 5-plus digs 11 times (including 3 times with 10-plus digs) ... He sprained his ankle several weeks after arriving at USC and missed 4 matches.
JUNIOR COLLEGE: He was the 2016 All-Pacific Coast Conference Co-MVP as he had 241 kills, 145 digs, 40 aces and 34 blocks as a freshman outside hitter at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa (Calif.) ... The Pirates were the 2016 state runnerup.

PERSONAL: His father, Mauro, and mother, Rejane, played volleyball on Brazil’s national teams (his father coaches professionally), while his brother, Marco, was a setter at Pacific (2013-14) and Ohio State (2015-16), including on the Buckeyes’ 2016 NCAA champions, and his sister, Carol, played volleyball at Salt Lake Community College (2013-14) and Cal State Bakersfield (2015-16) and also beach volleyball at Cal State Bakersfield (2016-17) ... He is a global studies major at USC ... Birthdate is Dec. 3, 1995.
