2026: Medyn, who enrolled at USC in the summer of 2026, looks to compete for playing time at quarterback as a true freshman in 2026.
HIGH SCHOOL: Medyn, a three-star recruit, was rated as the No. 267 player in the state of California and the No. 150 quarterback in the nation by 247Sports. The 247Sports Composite ranked him as the No. 254 player in the state of California, the No. 158 quarterback nationally and the No. 2,844 overall prospect in the country. He was a 2025 Navy National Combine attendee, where he earned 247Sports All-Combine Team National Combine Honorable Mention recognition.
As a senior in 2025, Medyn saw action in 13 games and completed 178-of-270 passes (65.9%) for 2,320 yards with 10 TDs and 10 INTs. He also rushed for 451 yards on 99 carries (4.6 avg.) with 15 TDs. He earned placement on the 2025 All-Baseline League First Team, was named to the 2025 Division 3 All-CIF Team and was selected as Team MVP.
As a junior in 2024, Medyn saw action in 11 games and completed 166-of-270 passes (61.5%) for 2,271 yards with 18 TDs and 4 INTs. He also rushed for 173 yards on 46 carries (3.8 avg.) with 11 TDs. He earned 2024 Division 3 All-CIF honors and attended the 2025 Elite 11 Regional.
