2025: Shelby, a veteran presence on the defensive, returns to make an impact as a junior in 2025.
2024: Shelby saw action in 12 games (all but Nebraska) and started in 3 games (Maryland, Rutgers and Washington) at defensive end as a sophomore in 2024. He recorded 28 total tackles, with 5 for loss of 22 yards (with 3 sacks for minus 14 yards), 1 PBU and 2 QB hurries.
He had 3 tackles, including 1 for loss of 5 yards against LSU and tallied 1 tackle against Utah State. Shelby recorded 3 tackles, including 1 for loss of 4 yards (with 1 sack for minus 4 yards) versus Michigan. He had 2 tackles versus Minnesota and 1 tackle against Penn State.
