CAREER: In his four-year career (3 seasons at New Mexico and 1 at Iowa State), Sanders has recorded 305 carries for 1,766 yards (5.8 avg.) with a long of 75 and 13 TDs through 33 games. He has also tallied 30 receptions for 268 yards (8.9 avg.) with a long of 31 and 1 TD. Additionally, he had 5 kickoff returns for 113 yards (22.6 avg.) with a long of 32.
2025: Sanders, who transferred to USC in the spring of 2025 from New Mexico, looks to compete for playing time at running back as a redshirt senior in 2025. He is a candidate for the 2025 Doak Walker Award.
NEW MEXICO: As a redshirt junior in 2024, Sanders recorded 147 carries for 1,063 yards (7.2 avg.) with a long of 75 and 9 TDs through 12 games. He also tallied 15 receptions for 134 yards (8.9 avg.).
IOWA STATE: As a redshirt sophomore in 2023, Sanders tallied 102 carries for 477 yards (4.7 avg.) and 4 TDs through 9 games. He also notched 5 receptions for 43 yards (8.6 avg.) and 1 TD.
As a redshirt freshman in 2022, he recorded 47 carries for 197 yards (4.2 avg.) and 7 receptions for 51 yards (7.3 avg.). He also fielded 2 kickoff returns for 40 yards (20.0).
As a freshman in 2021, he notched 9 carries for 29 yards (3.2 avg.) and 3 receptions for 41 yards (13.7 avg.). He also recorded 3 kickoff returns for 73 yards (24.3 avg.).
HIGH SCHOOL: Sanders, a four-star recruit, was ranked as the No. 7 player in the state of Arizona by Rivals. He was touted as the No. 32 running back in the nation by Rivals.
As a senior in 2020, he led Chandler to a state title and perfect season (10-0). He ran for 1,377 yards while averaging 7.5 yards per carry. He also had team-high 23 TDs. He earned First Team All-State and was a finalist for the 2020 Ed Doherty Award.
Despite missing the first half of his junior season because of transfer rules in 2019, he rushed for 643 yards and 10 TDs to lead Chandler to the state championship.
As a sophomore at Mountain Pointe in 2018, he recorded 878 rushing yards and 11 TDs.
He also ran track at Mountain Pointe and was a member of a pair of 4X100 state champion relay teams (2019, 2021).
PERSONAL: He is majoring in American Studies and Ethnicity at USC.
