2014: Guertler, who earned a scholarship in the spring of 2014 after being one of USC[apos]s most experienced walk-ons, will battle for starting time at offensive tackle and also will play on special teams as a senior in 2014.
2013:Guertler saw action in 12 games (all but Arizona and Notre Dame) as a backup left offensive tackle, as a blocking tight end and on special teams as a walk-on junior in 2013. He even started against Utah at tight end.
2012:He was a reserve walk-on offensive guard as a sophomore in 2012. He saw limited action in 12 games (all but Notre Dame).
2011:He was a reserve walk-on offensive guard as a redshirt freshman in 2011. He saw brief action in 4 games (Syracuse, California, Colorado, Washington) in 2011.
2010:He joined the USC team in the fall of 2010 as a first-year freshman walk-on offensive tackle, but did not see any action in 2010...
High School:He made 2009 All-County and All-Big VIII League first team as a senior offensive tackle at Norco (Calif.) High. He made the All-League team as a 2008 junior.
PERSONAL: He is a psychology major at USC.
