2023-24 SEASON:
High School: Parker prepped at Classical Academy High School where he was a multi-time San Diego-Imperial Winter Age Group Championship in the 100y free … At the 2021 Speedo Summer Championships-West, finishing seventh in the 50 LCM free (23.27) … In 2019, as a sophomore, he finished eighth at the California High School State Championship meet in the 50 free. In that same event he had his best individual finish at Winter Juniors – West in December, placing 18th.
Club: Rancho San Dieguito / Egyptian Shooting Club
Personal: While Parker has lived most of his life in San Diego, he is eligible for Egyptian citizenship through his mother who was born there. During the fall of 2019, he submitted official paperwork to FINA to declare Egypt as his formal sporting home. His father attended USC as an undergraduate, but did not compete in varsity athletics.
PARKER'S PERSONAL RECORDS
- At the Pac-12 Championships, Parker finished 31st in the 50y free (20.09) and 26th in the 100y butterfly (48.53). He also helped USC to a 5th place finish 200y freestyle relay (1:18.00) and a 4th place finish in the 400y freestyle relay (2:54.33)
- At Pac-12’s, Parker placed 31st in the 50y free (20.08), 22nd in the 100y fly (49.48) and 28th in the 100y free (44.55). He also helped USC to a fourth-place finish in the 200y medley relay and participated in the 200y free relay.
- At the USC Invite, Parker was 10th in the 50y free (20.30), 15th in the 100y free (45.43) and 17th in the 100y fly (50.34).
- At the 2022 Pac-12 Championships, Parker appeared in the 50y free (19.99), 100y fly (49.50) and 100y free (44.15).
