THIS SEASON: Mor Bulis is in his third season at USC.
2019-20: Bulis was ranked No. 27 in the nation and held a 22-5 overall singles record with a four-match win streak when competition was cancelled in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic... Was 9-1 in dual-match play, going 5-0 at No. 3 and 4-1 at No. 4... Had the match-clinching victory in USC’s win over UNC to claim the ITA National Team Indoor Championship... Named to the ITA National Team Indoor All-Tournament Team at the No. 4 singles position... In doubles, Bulis was ranked No. 54 in the nation with Brandon Holt... Had gone 15-7 overall in doubles with a 7-3 mark in dual matches... Went 3-2 with Holt... Also paired with Bradley Frye (1-1), Ryder Jackson (5-2) and Daniel Cukierman (1-0)... In the fall, won the Milwaukee Tennis Classic singles title... Also reached the ITA Southwest Regional singles semifinals and the doubles final with Cukierman.
2018-19: A spring addition to the Trojan roster, Bulis went 9-6 overall in singles and 5-1 in dual matches, going 5-3 a the No. 6 position and also playing at No. 5 (2-2), No. 4 (1-1) and No. 3... Clinched three matches, including USC’s upset win over Texas... In doubles, went 2-0, winning at No. 1 singles with Riley Smith and at No. 2 with Jack Jaede.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bulis won two doubles and one singles Futures titles in Israel in 2017... Made two appearances for Israel at the Davis Cup — versus Ukraine in September 2017 and against Romania in October 2017... Finished second in the Israel Championship at the age of 18... Competed in and took gold at the 19th Maccabiah Games in 2013... Highest career ATP singles ranking is 488 and highest doubles ranking is 654... Competed for Israel at the European Championships at ages 16 and 18.
PERSONAL: Mor Bulis was born April 18, 1996 in Petach Tikva, Israel… Father is Sharon and mother is Gilat… Has one brother, Shir, and one sister, Noy… His goal is to crack the ATP top-100… Lists his most thrilling sports moment as his first appearance in the Davis Cup in Ramat Hasharon, Israel... In his second appearance, he registered his first Davis Cup win in the match vs. Romania... Enjoys playing other sports, watching movies, surfing and hanging out with friends in his free time...
