Attended La Costa Canyon HS in Carlsbad, Calif… selected to the 2021 and 2022 VolleyballMag.com 25 Underclassmen to Watch List, as well as the 2021 and 2022 AVCA Boys High Risers List… played for Wave Volleyball Club where he earned placement on the Junior Volleyball Association Boys All-National Team and the 2020 SoCal Cup All-Tournament Team… was a member of the 2022 USA Volleyball Men's U21 National Team that won the gold medal at the Pan American Cup in Havana, Cuba… named the tournament's second-best blocker… member of the 2021 USA Volleyball National Development Program.

Marc Wesley Smith is from Carlsbad, Calif. and was born on Sept. 9, 2004 in Denver, Colo.… parents are Marc and Mariah Smith… has one sibling named Tatum… grandfather Ray Perkowski captained the Air Force swim team (1964-67)… Uncle David Perkowski swam at Indiana (1967-70) and swam in the 1968 Olympics as a member of the U.S. Men’s National Team… Aunt Marie Perkowski Manning swam at Rutgers (1972-75)… most thrilling sports moment was when he won gold with the U21 National Team in Cuba… hobbies include going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends… names Super Bowl champion quarterback Peyton Manning as his sports hero for his leadership on and off the field… majoring in business administration at the USC Marshall School of Business.
