THIS SEASON: Watson enters his second season of competition at USC.
2012: Watson scored 10 goals as a redshirt freshman... First career goal as in USC[apos]s season opener vs. La Verne... Scored in nine games with one two-goal outing vs. Pomona-Pitzer on Sept. 15.
2011: Watson redshirted his first year at USC.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Watson has been training with the U.S. Junior National Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Watson was a first team All-American and league MVP as a senior out of Corona del Mar High in Newport Beach, Calif.... Team won four league titles and won the CIF championship in his senior season... A first team all-CIF selection as a junior and senior... Named 2010 Daily Pilot Dream Team Player of the Year and OC Register First Team All-County... Scored five goals in the 2010 CIF championship win... Scored 85 goals as a senior, 68 goals as a junior and 42 goals as a sophomore... Named a third team All-American as a junior and was an OC Register Second Team All-County pick... An all-league first team selection in 2009 and Daily Pilot Dream Team first-teamer... Played club for Coast, SoCal and OCWPC... Won Junior Olympic gold in 2010 with SoCal and in 2011 with Trojan WPC... An honor student.
PERSONAL: Watson has not decided on a major... Parents are James and Kimberly... Has two siblings, Colby and Chrissy... Father and uncles Steve and Dana also attended USC... Enjoys traveling to Mexico, spending time at the beach, and playing basketball and tennis in his free time... Lists Dirk Nowitzki and Tiger Woods as his biggest sports heroes... Hopes to travel through Western Europe... Born May 20, 1992.
