2013: Walters scored 17 goals as a true freshman... Overcame injury to return to action and score in six of USC[apos]s final seven games of the year... Scored four goals at the MPSF Tournament and two goals in the NCAA Tournament to help USC along to the 2013 national championship... In all, scored in 10 games with five multiple-goal outings... Set career high with four goals scored against Redlands... Passed away on Jan. 8, 2014.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Walters was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Walters was the 2012 CIF Player of the Year and never lost a game during his career playing at Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, Calif.... Won the 2011 and 2012 CIF titles... First team All-American... Played club for Orange County WPC.
PERSONAL: Walters has not decided on a major but hopes to pursue a career as an attorney... Parents are Jacque and Bill... Has three brothers, Mike, Matt and James, and one sister, Ali... Enjoys reading in his free time... Has always wanted to win a national championship... Hopes to travel to Spain and Italy... Would like to attend law school after graduation... Born Feb. 11, 1994.
