THIS SEASON: Jack Martin enters his second season of competition at USC.
2024 SEASON:
• Scored 36 goals in his first season of competition at USC
• Scored in 21 games with seven multi-goal outings
• Tallied first career goal as a Trojan in USC’s season opener vs. Long Beach State
• Set career high with an eight-goal outburst in the MPSF quarterfinals vs. Austin College
• His eight-goal game marked the second-most goals ever scored by a Trojan in a single game
• A member of the 2024 NCAA Tournament roster
2023 SEASON:
• Martin did not compete in his first season at USC as a transfer
2022 SEASON AT STANFORD:
• Scored 36 goals as a redshirt freshman, ranking fourth on the team
• Recorded nine multi-goal performances
• Played in all 27 games, scoring in 21 of them
• Scored a season-high four goals in debut against Wagner (Sept. 3)
2021 SEASON AT STANFORD:
• Redshirted first season at Stanford
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• As a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, won bronze at 2023 Junior World Championships
• Member of U.S. Cadet National Team in 2018
• Won bronze medal at Darko Cukic Memorial Tournament in Serbia
HIGH SCHOOL:
2021 graduate of The Bishop’s School in La Jolla, Calif.... Four year letterwinner in water polo, also competed for the surf team... Won back-to-back CIF San Diego section championships in 2020 and 2021... 2019 and 2020 San Diego Section Player of the Year... Three-time first-team All-San Diego Section (2018-20)... Team reached 2019 Division I state tournament... Played club for San Diego Shores (2017-21)... A member of the Spanish Honors Society.
PERSONAL:
Martin is majoring in social sciences with emphasis in economics at USC... Parents are Sandy and Shaun... Has three siblings: Sierra, Charlie and Henry... Older sister, Sierra, plays water polo at Brown... Enjoys surfing, freediving, fishing and walks on the beach in his free time... Lists Tony Gwynn as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to skydive... Hopes to travel to Bali, Australia and Greece... Born Sept. 10, 2003.
