• Scored six goals at the MPSF Tournament including four in the championship game against UCLA
• Scored five goals and tallied four assists at the NCAA Tournament
• Matched a USC career high with seven points on three goals and four assists against Princeton
• Recorded 27 assists, 23 steals and 11 field blocks on the year

• Team’s top scorer with 87 goals — second most in a single-season in LBSU history — and had 30 assists
• Set career high with school record-tying eight goals in 12-10 win over Stanford
• Scored in 26 games with 21 multiple-goal outings
• Scored three goals in a 16-13 loss to USC on Oct. 27
• Named Big West Player of the Week on Sept. 6
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• Most recently a member of Spain’s U20 national team, began competing for Spain at the U15 level
• Won bronze with Spain at the 2022 FINA Youth World Championships
• Won silver with Spain at the U19 European Championships
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2022 graduate of Centre D’alt Rendiment Esportiu (IES CAR) de Sant Cugat del Valles in Barcelona, Spain... Played club water polo for Club Natacio Barcelona, where he won the Spanish national championship... At the U18 level, was national MVP and two-time regional MVP... At the senior level, helped CN Barcelona finish runner-up in the National League twice and once in Spanish League... Also reached the Len Euro Cup semifinals... As a youth, won 10 Catalonia titles and five national championships.
PERSONAL: López Duart is majoring in economics... Parents are Marta Vicenta Duart Carrion and Antonio Juan López Saez... Has one sister, Adriana... His father also played water polo for Club Natacio Barcelona... Enjoys being with his family in his free time... Lists Rafael Nadal and Felipe Perrone as his biggest sports heroes... Has always wanted to compete in the Olympics... Hopes play professionally after graduating.... Would like to travel to Valencia to visit his mother’s family and to Ibiza...
