THIS SEASON: All-American Sam Slobodien enters his final season of competition at USC.
2018: Slobodien earned All-America Honorable Mention and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Second Team as a redshirt junior... Scored 36 goals... Scored three goals at the NCAA Tournament, with two scored in the championship game... Scored 10 goals vs. top-5 opponents... Had a season-high four goals in a win over UCLA on Nov. 10... Scored in 23 different games with eight multiple-goal outings...
2017: Slobodien was sixth on the team in scoring with 28 goals... Scored in 12 games with seven multiple-goal outings... Set new career high with six goals vs. Fresno Pacific... A member of the NCAA Tournament roster.
2016: Slobodien scored 11 goals as a redshirt freshman... Scored in eight games and set his career high with a four-goal game vs. Fresno Pacific on Sept. 30.
2015: Slobodien redshirted his first season at USC.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Slobodien was a member of the USA’s Cadet and Youth National Teams.
HIGH SCHOOL: Slobodien earned all-CIF first team honors at Santa Margarita High... Also named to all-league first team and earned all-county honors... Scored 109 goals and had 75 assists... Played club for OCWP... An honor student.
