2009: Buckner led the team in scoring with 44 goals in his senior season... Scored in 23 games with a team-best 12 multiple-goal games, including a career-high five goals vs. Pacific in the MPSF Tournament... Finished USC career ranked No. 22 all-time with 110 career goals as a Trojan... Named to All-America First Team and NCAA All-Tournament First Team... Also selected to All-MPSF Second Team.
2008: Buckner was second on the team in scoring with 42 goals as a junior... Scored in 23 games with 12 multiple-goal outings... Had a season-high three goals in seven games, including the NCAA Championship win over Stanford... Named a First Team All-American as well to the NCAA Tournament First Team, All-MPSF Second Team and MPSF All-Tournament Team... Selected MPSF Player of the Week on Sept. 22 after scoring six goals, including two in the championship game at the NorCal Tournament.
2007: Buckner was second on the team in scoring with 24 goals as a sophomore... Scored in 15 games with five multiple-goal efforts... Tallied a career-high four goals twice, vs. LMU in the season opener and vs. Stanford in the SoCal Tournament championship... Received All-America honorable mention... A Second Team All-NCAA Tournament selection... Earned All-MPSF honorable mention... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Oct. 15 after scoring eight goals at the SoCal Tournament.
2006: Buckner did not compete in his first season at USC as a transfer from California.
2005 AT CAL: Buckner scored 22 goals in 27 appearances for the Bears as a true freshman... Scored a career-high four goals against UC Santa Cruz and Long Beach State... Cal finished the 2005 season ranked No. 3 with a 21-7 record.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Buckner is a member of the U.S. Men[apos]s National Team, having competed at the 2005 World Championships... Also won gold with the U.S. Junior National Team at the 2004 Junior Pan American Games... Was the youngest member of the Junior and Youth teams.
HIGH SCHOOL: Buckner was named the 2004 CIF Division II Player of the Year as a senior at Villa Park High... Set school scoring records with 186 goals as a senior and 364 career goals... A two-time first team All-American... Named 2004 Orange County Register Player of the Year and Century League MVP in 2003 and 2004... Played club for Lamorinda, winning gold at the 20-Under National Championships and bronze at the Men[apos]s Senior Nationals.
