2022-23 SEASON: Maddy Sieg’s historic freshman campaign was highlighted by ITA All-American Singles and Doubles honors (alongside partner Eryn Cayetano) and Pac-12 Conference First Team Accolades … Leading the Women of Troy with 32 singles wins, Sieg tallied a 32-4 overall individual record and was 22-2 in dual matches … Played at the No. 1 position for the Trojans (15-1) … Sieg reached a career best ITA singles ranking of No. 2 and ended the season ranked No. 5 … Clinched two matches for the Women of Troy (SDSU, Washington State) … In doubles went 24-7 overall and 18-6 in dual matches, playing predominantly with Eryn Cayetano … The Trojan duo reached a career high ranking of No. 9 at the end of the season … At the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships, Sieg made history, becoming the first Trojan to reach the semifinals in both during the same season. She was also the only woman that advanced past both the singles and doubles quarterfinals … Named to USTA Summer Collegiate Team … Milwaukee Classic singles champion and doubles finalist.
