Brysun Stately

Brysun Stately begins her second season at USC as the volunteer assistant coach in the pole vault.
Stately was a four-time pole vault All-American and is USC[apos]s all-time leader in the women[apos]s pole vault. She competed three seasons for USC and one for Nebraska.
Stately set the USC record in winning the pole vault competition at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet with a clearance of 14-0 (4.27) on May 1, 2010. She helped lead USC to its first Dual Meet sweep of the Bruins. Stately also owns the USC indoor record of 13-5.75 (4.10m) set in 2006.
Stately finished in fourth in the Pac-12 pole vault competition in 2006 and fifth in 2010. She finished in the top 10 in the country at the NCAA Outdoor Championships three times, tying for sixth in 2006, finishing third in 2007 and ninth in 2009. She also tied for seven at the 2007 NCAA Indoor Championships.
Stately began her college career at USC in 2006 and set the freshman pole vault record of 13-7.25 (4.15m). She went on to earn All-America honors before deciding to transfer to Nebraska as USC[apos]s volunteer pole vault coach left. After earning indoor and outdoor All-America honors at Nebraska in 2007 and setting the school record with a vault of 14-3.25, she returned home to USC and redshirted the 2008 season.
Stately is from Citrus Heights, Calif. and graduated from Bella Vista High where she won the 2005 CIF state pole vault title and earned high school All-America honors. Stately earned a degree in Sociology with a minor in Advertising from USC in 2010.
