THIS YEAR: Junior Jaelen Knox is in his third season as a sprinter for the USC track and field team.
2024: Knox competed in five outdoor meets during the season. He placed third in the 200m with a time of 21.54 (+1.7) and fourth in the 100m with a time of 10.71 (+1.1) at the USC-UCLA Dual Meet on April 28. He had a season-best 200m time of 21.35 (-0.8) to place second at the Oxy Invitational on May 4. He was limited to one indoor meet and he set his 60m PR of 7.00 at the Spokane Sports Showcase on Jan. 12.
PERSONAL: Jaelen was born April 19, 2004 in Long Beach, Calif…His parents are Tiyonda Davis and Eric Knox… He enjoys playing video games, watching anime and learning about animals in his free time…Lists US Olympian Noah Lyles as his biggest sports hero…He is majoring in Anthropology.

2023: Knox was limited to two outdoor meets due to injury. He posted a season-best time of 21.67 (+1.9) to place 21st in the 200m at the Pac-12 Championships. He competed in four meets during the indoor season, running a personal best of 21.31 to place 10th at the New Mexico Classic on Feb. 3.
HIGH SCHOOL: Knox, from Long Beach, Calif., is a 2022 graduate of Long Beach Poly HS. He has personal bests of 10.53/10.39w in the 100m and 21.13/20.77w in the 200m dash. He placed fifth in the 200m and eighth in the 100m at the CIF Championships. He won the 200m title at the prestigious Mt.
