2022/SOPHOMORE:
HIGH SCHOOL/SOUTHEAST CC
- Selected in the 9th round of the MLB Draft by the New York Yankees (signed)
- Utilized as both a hitter and a pitcher, Keating appeared in 30 games with two starts in the infield and made 24 appearances as a pitcher for the Trojans during the 2022 season
- As a hitter, Keating produced one RBI and walked two times
- As a pitcher, he posted a 3.60 ERA with a 2-3 record and a team-high seven saves
- Ranked tied for fifth in the Pac-12 with seven saves and tied for third in Pac-12 conference games with four saves
- Pitched 30.0 innings, struck out 44 batters and walked 15
- Posted a team best 13.2 strikeouts per nine innings
- Allowed the lowest batting average against on USC with a .212
- Accumulated a season-high five strikeouts against crosstown rival UCLA (March 13) in two innings of work
