Davis is a 2004 graduate of Toledo (Ohio) Bowsher High... A four-year basketball letterwinner at guard... Averaged 23.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.4 steals per game as a senior, while leading prep team to the Toledo City League and Northwest District championship games... Completed her four-year career as Bowsher[apos]s all-time leading scorer with 1,838 total points... Ranked as high as No. 63 nationally according to the All-Star Girls Report... Named to Ohio[apos]s all-state first team as a senior (2004), and second team as a junior (2003) and sophomore (2002)... A three-time (2002, 2003, 2004) All-Northwest District first team selection (also named to second team as a freshman), Toledo Blade All-Blade pick and All-Toledo City League first team honoree (also named to second team as a freshman)... Led the league in scoring as a junior (2003) and was named Toledo City League Player of the Year (an honor she also received in 2002) and Toledo Blade Player of the Year... Played AAU basketball for All-Ohio Black (2002-03), along with current teammate Símone Jelks.

Jazlyn Shawnte Davis was born on July 5, 1986, in Toledo, Ohio... The daughter of Louis and Brenda Davis, she has one brother, J.R., and two sisters, Alexcia and Breanna... Lists winning an NCAA Championship as something she has always wanted to do... Is undecided on her major, but would like to pursue a career in broadcast communications, education or administration.
