THIS SEASON: Isabel Ji is a talented freshman originally from China who spent her high school career in San Diego. A player with much potential, Ji will look to crack the Trojans lineup.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ji attended Torrey Pines High in San Diego, Calif., after moving from China to the U.S. in 2012. She had success in both China and in the U.S. as a junior player. She posted 13 wins on the HSBC China Junior Championships circuit between 2009-2012 after being recruited to the China Junior Golf Team in 2009 ... She represented China at the 2010 Evian Master Junior Cup and was the 2010 China Golf Association Player of the Year. She qualified for the 2011 Hyundai China Women's Open and tied for 41st in a packed field at the 2011 TLPGA Invitational. Ji captained the China team in the 2012 USA-China Youth Golf Match, helping China win 9-7 ... A multiple winner of junior events since moving to the U.S., Ji won the 2013 Annika Invitational (Asian Region) at Mission Hills and made the cut at the 2014 Mission Hills World Ladies Championship. She also played in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic in 2014, but missed the cut. She tied for 33rd during stroke play of the 2015 U.S. Amateur and was second at the 2015 San Diego Junior Amateur ... She helped Torrey Pines to three straight California state titles before finishing second as a 2015 senior.
